1913 ford emblem... any input what it is or went to?

Default 1913 ford emblem... any input what it is or went to?

1913 Ford part my great grandfather made at a plant in Michigan. Can anybody tell me what it is? Thx in advance

Beings the note says hub cap, except for the slot in it, it looks like a 1913 thru 1916 Model T hub cap center.
