Default 1968 f100

I got a 1968 100 that when the battery is hooked up the instrument lights and break lights stay on was wondering what could be the problem. I have a new break light switch and tested it it works as it should. And none of the wires look tampered with under dash.

No just instrument lights. I also replaced headlight switch, and they turn off and on headlights but instruments still stay on and taillights.

I figured it out. The gray blue/red instrument wire was plugged into the new fuse box so it was getting constant power so I plugged that wire into another that only had power to it when the headlights were turned on. Thanks for taking the time out to help.

There was no fuse box but putting the new one in it shows the blue gray/ red going to into the fuse box so that’s why it was throwing me off . I figured out my own problem no need to be a dick after I already thanked to for your time
