Default 1972 Ford LTD 351w

I had issues with it crank/no start and when it did start stumbled a bit at lights and would not start after it was warmed up. Once cooled off it would start again. At first I thought it was a spark issue. The coil was bad and I replaced the coil and distributor, rebuilt the carb. It still does the same thing, but now runs rough all of the time and has back fired a couple of times. Please help.

Did anybody do anything with the spark plug wires ? Were they arranged in the correct firing order?

Regarding the carb rebuild, was the accelerator pump and check ball or rubber check valve checked for good sealing?

How about the correct float level ?
