1992 club wagon tranny problem
So with our 7th boy on his way, i purchased a 1992 e150 clubwagon for $500. This thing is in great shape with only 129,xxxmiles on it. It has the E4OD in it with the typical leaky front pump seal. What else do you guys recommend replacing while im in there? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

A lot will depend on what you find when you decide to open it up.
Some of the scenerios could be;
You don't want to get that involved
You might decide to unload it for some reason
You decide it is in great shape and would be worth to either do a partial rebuild
or install a rebuilt exchange trans. In which case from what I can see the van would be worth considering installing a remanufactured E4OD that would have all the latest modifications and just about all new parts and come with enough of a warranty that you could forget all about trans problems. Personally, I would go the remanufactured trans route because the van appears to be worth the investment. Circumstances will determine which path you decide on.
