This is all a learning experience and one of the best things you can do is read up on the engine. We all have had our ideas and some worked and some didn't. That's how we learned. Hang in there and try to follow our reasoning. Speaking for myself , I got burned many times and had to learn too and am still learning. The suggestions offered are the results of having been burned in the past. That is why the suggestions follow a sort of sequence. Getting back to the possibility of questionable fuel, I've been there and when I dropped a tank that was 1/2 filled with water someone asked can't you just add dry gas ? The only answer I was able to give was, " I can't make gasoline out of water" !

Ok so I feel pretty dumb haha I finally got money and bought new spark plugs and after letting it sit for 2 Weeks with fuel stabilizer in the tank it started right up and my dad said that it already sounds better. And that the boch or however spell it the brand of spark plugs he had in it are the worst for fords. My cousin whom is an auto mechanic told him this 7 years ago

on any ford engine gas engine is what I mean the spark plugs should be from motorcraft or ford owned plugs I don;t know why they seem to last longer and don't foul out as fast as the others if you can't get motorcraft try the champion copper plus that's what I use if I can't get motorcraft plugs.

Hi Mr Grindman,
Glad to see you're back. I was worried that you were vacationing on a tropical island under the beach umbrella and forgot all about us !
