2001 Escape Transmission Problem
My 2001 ford Escape has 3.0 engine with CD4E automatic transmission 4WD. Transmission went out so I bought a remanufactured with 3 yr warranty.
I live in remote Alaska. No auto shop around. We put it in ourselves. Problem is it won't go into gear. No obvious problem. Linkage moved fine before replacement. Has fluid ect, One person said the transmission needs programming?? Any suggestions would be helpfull.

So we know where we are.
Did you get a remanuactured or rebuilt trans and where did you get it?
The reason I ask is, if it is a reman and you did not replace or flush the trans cooler, you just lost your warranty
