2002 Excursion front end noise
Howdy all,
I'm new to the forum but not new to Ford
I have a 2002 Excursion Limited with the V10.
I just did new wheel bearings, rotors, calipers and the such. I put it all back together and it sounded great on the initial test drive. I took it back out for a second and there is a thump noise coming from the side that had the bad bearing(passenger front). I took everything back apart but I cannot hone in on the problem. Anyone have any ideas for me?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers, Jeff

Noises are difficult to diagnose on a forum. Anyone who suggests a solution is just guessing. If this noise started after doing the work, all that can be suggested is to retrace what you did and hopefully you find the cause. If you are unable to find the source, I would recommend you take it to a qualified shop for a front end inspection.
