2003 f 250 4x4 7.3l crewcab transmission does not have forward or reverse . raised up the rear end on jackstands . i can manually turn the wheels P- wheels turn opposite direction when im manually holding or not holding the drive shaft. Rev- hand turn the wheels while the drive shaft is manually held N- wheels turn manually driveshaft also can be held wheels keep turning D-manaully turn wheels driveshaft manually held wheels can still turn 1-2 gears manually turn wheels they turn the same direction not opposite and i also can manually hold the driveshaft an turn the wheels any help would be greatly appreciated

 

One way to be sure is to take the differential cover off and look inside
