I have a 2008 Edge limited edition. The remote is a ford single button remote that was installed by ford.
The issue I have is the battery went dead on the remote and when I changed them the remote wont start the SUV. All it does is beep three times and that is it.
I had the same issue before and went to ford to have this fixed and can't remember what they did to fix it. I know that I had to bring both fobs and both remote starters buttons.
I know they sit in the car and think they install the key into the ignition and turn it on to run but not really sure what else is done to re program the remote. I know it's a quick fix but can't remember.
