2008 mercury sable with 75k miles. runs rough very bad. The ignition coil # 6 smoke out. I replaced it and the new one smoke out in 5 minutes. The wire goes direct to the computer is grounded all the time. I sent the computer to rebuilt but i still have the same problem. Any help?

 

It would seem that the wire that is grounded all the time is touching or cut by something causing a short to ground. Until you locate the short circuit it will either smoke the coil or cook the hot side supply to it. I would guess a good place to start would be the ign module and back to the PCM .,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hanky
