2010 ford F750 loss of power
I’ve got a 2010 ford F750 with the 6.7L that has been having extreme loss of power. It does not throw any codes and does not have any stored codes. The truck will barely go over 60 now and it’s only got about 75,000 miles. I have read that these trucks tend to lose power due to how they use one cylinder to burn off exhaust as they did before they introduced the DEF System. I was thinking maybe the turbo is going out but it’s an old enough model to where I can’t do the turbo actuator test with my laptop. I can’t really find anything else online about it. Any thoughts would help!!
Fuel filter, Fuel water separator and oil filter changed every 3 months, air filter changed every 6 months, crank case filter replaced 3 months ago, fan clutch replaced 3 months ago.
If somehow water got into the fuel system , it would be a good move to change the fuel filter again and see if that makes any difference.
Is the engine throwing out any unusual smoke?
Did anybody check the turbocharger for stuck internal parts (full of carbon) ?

just changed the fuel filter and fuel water separator again and it didn’t make much of a difference. I have not checked the turbo yet as that’s what I am leaning towards however I’ve never messed with one a whole lot as I know you need a computer to hook it back up and sync it. I’m leaning towards either a clogged turbo or the turbo actuator malfunctioning but wouldn’t that throw a code?
wouldn’t the turbo being plugged or reducing the air flow throw a code in most situations?
Causes for low power can be due to:
Intake hoses disconnected At the charge air cooler
Turbo bearing faults
Excessive oil collecting in the charge air cooler
VGT solenoid or vanes not functioning properly
EGR system restriction
