My radio display only sometimes works. I cannot seem identify a common denominator of when it works, and when it does not.
I do not believe it is temperature related. It behaves the same in cold or hot weather. .
The original display that came with the car quit permanently. Then I bought a used one from eBay.
It is the one that only sometimes works.

When it does work it will come on normally when I start the car and continue to work thereafter until I turn the car off.
When it does NOT work it will stay off for the entire duration of my drive. (It will not attempt to light up while driving.)

I have tried the other self help articles in the other forums that do nothing.
I have pressed the Seek + Volume for 30 seconds.
I have pressed the number 1 and 6. I have pressed the number 2 and 6.

Why does this unit only sometimes work and how do I fix it?
