Unhappy 2019 Ford Edge Titanium AWD Warped Brake Rotors

Purchased the subject vehicle in Florida in 2021 with 19,000 miles on odometer. In June 2022 had to replace the RDU and rear brake pads and rotors. RDU is fine, but rear rotors have been turned once and replaced twice since then (approx 6-month period or 6000 miles between each service). Each preceded by heavy vehicle vibration and brake pedal pulsing (no steering wobble) when slowing from moderate to high speed. All work so far done under Ford 2-year service warranty by Ford service in 2 times in Florida and once in Virginia. Pads were replaced only during the last rotor replacement last July and calipers reported to be functioning correctly. All was great until a month ago when the vibration returned. again the 6000 mile approx interval. Ford service warranty expired. In any case, Ford not fixing the problem. Don't know where to turn. Rear brakes should last much longer. Vehicle currently has 44,000 miles

Has anyone experienced similar issues and were they resolved successfully and how?

Thank you

Some vehicles with stability control seem to eat up rear pads and rotors. Driving habits get into the picture.
Also if the system is not working correctly, it may think rear brake application is being needed when not necessary.

Thanks for your reply. Interesting thought. I ( and For apparently) never suspected the ESC. If the ESC is applying brakes under normal driving conditions or worse, continuously, I can see that overheating will occur. I never notice any brake dragging. The vehicle seems to accelerate freely, and I get good hwy mileage. I live in an urban area but do not drive aggressively and do some highway driving at least once a week. Also, before the braking was smooth, i.e. no grabbing. Only issue is the shaking and pedal pulsing. There are no front brake pad or rotor issues. Steering wheel is steady. Although I did have to replace the front axels 1000 miles ago. The rear brake issue started before this.

Not sure how to tell if rear brakes are being applied when not needed by the ESC. Should I go to Ford and have the ESC system checked? They have had the vehicle 5 times and not found anything. I'll turn the ESC off to see if there is any difference.

Any other thoughts you may have are welcome.

Thanks again and have a wonderful Holiday Season.
