92 E-350 Cargo Van
Picked up a clean econoline with 73k original miles. It had an electrical short on the spout plug wire that threw the timing all out of wack. Fixed short, set base timing, and then reconnected spout plug and its all fixed. It needs a tune up as im thinking the rough idle is due to a fouled plug or wires or cap/rotor. There is some lifter noise when in overdrive and the go pedal is pressed but i hope with a tune up and some decent highway miles the lifter will sort itself out. If not i will just have to live with it. Plenty of power though... oh and it needs a thermostat cause it does not warm up all the way and a new belt and alternator... body is in excellent shape and no rust or rot to speak of. Once i get those things sorted along with some other minor things this van should be a winner.
Going to carpet the interior walls and floor and try to find a headliner for the cargo area that matches the cabin.
Pics coming...
