Default 93 Ford F150 Headlamp Assembly Replacement

Hello, I am new here and was wondering if someone could help me with instructions on how to replace the headlamp assembly on a Ford F150 XLT, 1993.

I see the 2 screws at the top that needs to be removed but something is still holding the headlamps in place.

Thank you,
Bob

If you removed the plastic trim from the headlight area and you can see the two screws on the top of the headlite frame, remove them and peel the frame down to remove the glass beam. there is a spring under the frame which is pretty strong and I have used a small pair of vise grip pliers to clamp onto the spring and remove it leaving the vise grips connected so its easier to reconnect it when you are ready to install the new sealed beam. If my memory serves me correctly ,thats all there is to change the sealed beam. Good practice is to put a little grease in the sealed beam plug to help prevent corrosion. Let me know how you make out. Thanks

Are there two screws on the bottom of the chrome ring holding the lens in?

If there are I dont see how to get to them.. Its seems like the chrome piece that goes around the head assembly and turning signal is being held tight over by the turning signal light

The headlight door is held in place by the 2 top screws, and if you look at the 'back side' of the radiator support you'll see 2 nuts there that are the lower studs for the headlight door/bezel attachment.

I am trying to remove the chrome piece that surrounds the headlamp assembly. I have removed the 2 screws at the top. Something else seems to be holding this chrome piece in place on the lower outside part of this piece.

That's correct..

The headlight trim/door is held in place by the 2 top screws, and if you look at the 'back side' of the radiator support you'll see 2 nuts there that are the lower studs for the headlight door/trim attachment point. Depending on which side your removing, you may need to remove the battery ect.. If you reach behind the radiator support at about the headlight socket level, you'll feel/see the attachment nuts..
