Default 96 f250 2 Fuel vapor canister filters?

Hi I'm new here and had a question about Fuel vapor canisters. I have a 96 F250 with the 460efi 7.5L. I have 2 Fuel vapor canister filters under the hood and am not sure if that is normal. I was going to replace one because one of the openings are just exposed to the elements and may have gotten filled with coolant from flushing my radiator. when I go to purchase one, the comments say one per vehicle. Does any one know what is going on here? Should the bottom canister be capped? I have attached some pictures.

460/7.5 would have 2 canisters. The lower would/should have had an OE mushroom looking rain cap on that exposed neck to aid in keeping water out. Might try removing it and letting it sit upside down to dry out if it did take in water..Pick up a rain cap, or fab something so debris doesn't go inside.

Default Thanks

Thank you for the information. I will try drying it out and finding a mushroom cap.

You could just use a hose/elbow and turn it downward. Water can’t run uphill. This is similar to what it would have looked like minus the vent lines ..
