Since you only stated 'tank' there's no midship/saddle tank? Only a rear/aft axle tank,, correct? You should be able to shave off another 15-20.00 on an aftermarket tank if you shop/search out on the net. You may eat that savings up if you pay shipping, and you may find a vendor that will ship free, but NAPA may tack the shipping on as well on a non stocking part. Be sure to check. It would be worth dropping the tank 'first' and having a l'oo'k inside prior to ordering a replacement (if you have time) tank. The rear tanks used to like to collect water/moisture in the 'squared' area on the bottom side of the tank and rot through there. When the tank is removed, take the sending unit out and look at the general condition of the tank. Any abnormal amount of surface rust to the interior, or any significant collection in the 'squared area' should be a replacement tank. The larger fill hose and the smaller fill vent hose like to get stiff with age and may need to be replaced as well during the tank replacement. Any signs of hard/cracking hose should be a replacement indicator. If has to be fuel safe hose. NAPA should be able to help there.. If you drop the tank, try and do it with the tank as empty as possible.. Just basic tools are needed, and a floor jack to support the tank, or a good friend or two..
