Default Ecm

I sure could use advice on ECM repair/replacement/reprogramming. Capacitor in my ECM (red circle) doesn’t look like the ones I find on YouTube how-to videos. Is it still replaceable? If I replace ECM, how would I know I’m getting one that will work. Is it easy to reprogram an ECM from a different vehicle?
My ECM is stock ‘94 Bronco for a 302 but it’s been running a 460 w/MAF and E4OD for many years.

As long as you received the correct ECM for your vehicle , no programming was required.
Newer vehicles did require reprogramming

I haven’t received an ECM. I’m trying to figure out if it’s fixable or if I’ll need to replace it. If I choose to replace it, do I need to get an ECM specifically for a 460? Or do I just need any OBD1 ECM EEC-IV from any model before OBD2 regardless of engine or transmission? Does it make a difference if it has a MAF?

Model , engine and calibration number are usually needed to obtain the correct ECM.

I would suggest you check with a Ford Parts Dept and they would be better equipped to hopefully provide the correct answer.
