Engine swap
Welcome to the site..
It would be a huge undertaking and cost along with State Emmisions/Registration issues generally coming into play. Unless used off-road.. That said, back in the 70's we used to convert F series trucks using Perkins and Detroit diesels well before any were offered. Wasn't terrible to do back then with fabricated parts, and a fair amount of labor and a fat wallet. Today, trying to convert would be a huge task and a problem if you wouldn't be able to operate it 'On Highway' if your State has a problem with the change. Could it be done?, sure,,, kinda like racing question though,,, how fast can I make it go? Would depend on how much of an investment you want or need to make to match the goal :-)
