Angry f150 headlight issue

Just changed my headlight bulbs. Now, I do not have high beams. Nor do I have the green light on the dash indicating high beams are on. any suggestions.
Thanks,
Bill

What was the number of the bulbs you removed and those you installed?
If everything worked before changing the bulbs , there could be a problem with the bulbs, but if no hi beam was available before , then we have a different problem.
Some vehicles have a separate fuse just for the hi beams.

Thanks hanky. The bulbs I replaced were H13 Xenon and I replaced them with 9006. Initially, the high beam went out on one of the old bulbs, so I just replaced both with the same bulb. Sounds like I may have a fuse issue. I have a 2004 F-150 Lariat. I did jiggle the burnt out blub around in the socket just to see if perhaps the connection was bad. Do you have any idea where the fuse is for the high beams?> The owners manual says relay R03 but I have replaced that and still no high beams.

Until we know otherwise, if you have the owner's manual the fuse locations and what they control is in there.
You can pull up a copy of your owners manual at,www.fordfleet.com and insert the correct info and it will pull up the correct copy of the owners manual for you and you can see which fuse it is and where it's located.
If those new lamps drew too much current it is very possible they exceeded the current protection of the fuse.
Also, it may be a little more trouble , but you could always remove both the new bulbs and reconnect the good old bulb and see if that does anything. If not then chances are good the fuse is blown.

Thanks Hanky, I'll give that a try.
