Hi - I am an 2018 F150 owner with a transmission issue that needs repair. Apart from dealing with the Current Ford dealer I frequent, I am reaching out to those who have had similar issues and can refer an independent service that specializes with the F150. Like most of us out there it is expensive with a dealer to repair or replace outright. I appreciate your response. Thx Cliff

 

Many times,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,what appears to be a transmission malfunction can end up being an engine function problem.

With that in mind, never hurts to get a few opinions and estimates from trans shops and Good shops before possibly making an expensive decision that may or may not solve the problem. What do you think ?
