Okay, second of all, I'm from sweden, so forgive my english

I have, like the title tells, a Ford Mondeo Ghia, and now I need to change the engine in that one (cause it kinda exploded)

so my question is, can I put any engine from a Ford Mondeo in to my car, or does it have to be from a Ghia car?

The info I have is that my enginge have a code that is:
1A 831 AA LCBD
The engine I thinking of puting in to my car have a code that is:
3D 831 AA LCBD

Now.....Is it posseble for me to take the engin 3D..... and just put it in, or would it fit at all?

Please please help me.
