Hi, I am new here hope to find some answers as I am st a total loss at this stage

I bought Ford Focus GHIA 2005 4 years ago and have problems on a regular basis - the coil has been been gone I would say 7 times at this stage - engine light on, shaking of the entire car, power loss - now broke down 3 weeks ago and this time changing the coil wasn't enough anymore - now I am told to change the ECU which costs me new 1000 Euros plus repair

I don't have that kind of money and basically the garage is not sure that fixes the car for good

Do I have any rights at this stage - after 4 years? did the coil problem cause ECU fail

Please help
