Smile Fordpk52

I have been an inactive member for quite a few years for health reasons. I still have my 1952 F-1 pickup that was given to me from my sons on my 60th birthday and now turning 73...whew where did the time go. So its time to make an up grade. My '52 has the 8b V-8 Flathead engine with a manual 3 speed. I just picked up a ford-a-matic transmission same year (1952) with an air cooled torque converter that I am going to put in my pickup. I have everything I need except for the Flex Plate. I have called quite a few places and what I have learned is that the flex plate has to be used with the air cooled torque converter. Something I never knew. So if anyone knows where to get this type of flex plate I would appreciate the info.

Boy those flathead engines go back quite a way. One thing I can remember was you couldn't kill one of those engines unless you ran it without oil , lol.
