Head lights.
By diagnosing the problem. That's how you fix everything, sooner or later. What else happens. Do the lights (other then the Autolamps not working, as I read it) work normally otherwise? If this truck had properly working autolamps, does anything happen or not happen? Is something covering the photo 'eye' on the top of the dash? It is switched on?
There are lots of possiblites, so please let us know.

Well, now it gets deep. This system is switched on at the main light switch, which uses the Central Junction Box and all it's associated relays and fuses to control this system.
Start by checking all the fuses. This system starts off by sending an input to the CJB, which then reads the photo eye, then determines if autolamps are warranted. This system uses alot of fuses, and about 2 or 3 relays that control the lights. It's a complex system, and you'd have to have the service manual to diag it correctly (or at least to even start to diag it correctly).
