Help with Ford
Hello - I have aproblem that I would like help with, if anyone can help. Will try to keep it short. Bought 2012 Escape which I love. Had a horrible buying experience with a Northern NJ dealer. Was not planning on buying extended service plan but finance guy said it covered tires and brakes as well as regular maintenance. So I bought it. 5000 miles later found out tires and rotors were not covered, all else covered at 7500 mile intervals, even though no box was covered on my sheet. (I didn't read plan because I trusted him and had my 9+ month pregnant wife with me. Dealer had strung buying process on for weeks and hours that day) I emailed Ford for help. They told me I had to go back to dealer. I called the Finance and Insurance Department 5 times with one reply (a message during work hours that I missed) to the first call then no more replies. I contacted Ford again and was told: 'I am sorry we can't help you but you should talk to your dealer. I hope Ford can regain your confidence in the future."
I left out a lot of gory details but I am I insane for expecting Ford to do more? Any ideas what elseI can do or who else I can contact?
Thank you.
