hi there!
New Ford owner... just bought a 2011 Focus SES.
My last car was a 2001 VW Golf with the 1.8T motor. It'd been falling apart for years but the rack and pinion went, as well as the tie rods, resulting in a $1200 repair estimate, or about a third of what I owed on it. Needless to say, I finally got rid of it this weekend.
Loving the car so far! A few little things to get done --- tint, front plate mount, and the stereo is doing this weird fading in-and-out thing --- but nothing major.
