Hello anyone who reads this. I bought my Escape approximately 9 years ago (used/pre-owned) for around $2500. I dumped ober 15 grand into it because I had every intention of keeping it. SOOOO.MANY new parts and custom things too. Just the stereo is worth more than the vehicle but again I was planning on keeping it. (Kenwood color change/double deck, 4 10" Crunch subs in custom boxes in the back, 4 Blaupunk 4 way speakers in each of the 4 doors, 2 amps also in the back (1 for the subs and the other for the Blaupunks), Monster cable, crossover network, etc.....etc.), Large nubby tires, new axles, brakes, alternator, tint, $375 headlights, etc., etc..ETC. The list is quite long. I even paid 700 for a new main brain with coded keys that I never installed. I actually thought it needed it but right after I bought it, I realized it was something else...but I kept it just in case. I'm in Florida & got a job in California for 3 months and was planning on convoying with some other people I worked with. We planned it for about 3 weeks..5..6 days before we were going to leave I got into a 'fender bender'. I didn't have enough time to fix it so I rented a storage unit and stuck it in that. I was only supposed to be in California for 3 months. I was there for 18 months. YES... EIGHTEEN MONTHS 😳. After I put in in storage I need to get to California but flying was a no because I had too much stuff (💩😂lol...Just kidding)...stuff to take with me. I couldn't rent a vehicle because it would have cost WAY too much so I had to buy something and it HAD TO BE reliable (over 2600 miles each way, etc., ETC.) do used was a no. So I purchased a brand new vehicle and since Feb, 2022 I have been paying 258/month to store my Escape..that I REALLY love.....but I'm in a new(ish...now.lol) vehicle so I'm done paying for it to.sit..that's over 10 grand just to store it and I'm never gonna drive it again. But I love it and would REALLY love for someone to get it (buy it of course) who will TRULY appreciate all the work, time, money AND LOVE I put into it. So that's why I'm posting. I'm about to junk it and I don't want to.
