Just a little info about myself. I love ford trucks, snowmobiles, and quads. I just got my first desiel. Bought a 04 F250 Super Duty Crew FX4 with a 6.0 Powerstroke. Absolutly love the hell out of it but I dont know a whole lot about desiels. Looking for any info that might be useful. I would like to do some mods, but I dont want to compromise reliability. Also dont have a lot of ching after dropping $34000 on the truck. Any pointers from other desiel owners and or tuners would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

Welcome to the site. Check out the F250 F350 post section. You might be able to find some info in there. Check around for tuners. Hypertech I believe makes one. And if I remember correctly it is "on the fly" tuning so if you need more HP you just hit a button or if you need more torque you can switch while driving. There is another out there but can't remember the name. Something like Predator Diablo. They can be a little expensive. I don't know anything about deisels, but my Father in Law put a better exhaust on his and airfilter and he got a tuner chip. He said there was a big difference.
