Just bought a 1989 F350 XLT Lariat
Hello,
Just bought a 1989 F350 and it is in excellent condition and only has about 65,500 miles on it.
First owner used it to haul a camper and the second owner only put about 10,000 miles on it in about 3 years.
Mainly used it around his farm.
It is actually way more truck than I need I was looking for something to haul a trailer full of motorcycles for shows and I guess I will have no trouble with this truck.
Has the 7.5 liter 460 engine.
Needs a little TLC and a good cleaning and buffing but rides and drives really great.
Thanks
Chris

Yeah it has been well taken care of.
Just needs some TLC and a good cleaning.
AC doesn't work it's leaking down.
The PO had replaced all of the AC hoses and fittings under the hood.
Just have to run some dye through it and find the leak.
I mean it has some paint chips a little clear coat loss but I think I can bring some of the luster out of the paint with just a good detailing.
Also need a new passenger side front tire.
Some of the rubber trim starting to crack but nothing major.

Nice find !
For what it's worth, I would steer clear of adding any dye to the A/C , just find someone with a leak detector and go from there. You may have some trouble finding good R12.
A lot of what is out there is not what it should be and can cause problems. Be sure your source is clean and not contaminated.
