I guess you can say I was born and raised on Big Block Fords. My father never owned anything but a Ford or Mercury. The old man was a legend here where I grew up racing '56,'57 and '58's. I took my driver's road test dad's '68 Thunderbird with a 429 and all the trooper riding with me talked about was the car and my dad. I've been a mechanic pretty much my entire life but it seems to be getting harder by the day to get access to information to newer vehicles. Which is why I joined your club. I bought a 2018 Explorer Sport for me a new project toy and a 2016 Edge Sport for my Bride simply because I'd heard so much about the Tuning capabilities of the Eco-boost and so far I haven't been disappointed. I have ran into problems with boost cooling (water/methanol) injection trying to find a reliable square wave rpm signal for the boost controller. Hopefully someone here can help me with that. I have done a lot of successful mods to the Explorer as far as tuning and suspension and willing to share everything I have learned so far.
