Are you trying to say the monitors will not run ?
If that is the case , certain conditions must be met before they can/will be run.
Usually if they aren't,you should have a code(s).
Need more info.

Default additional info

Thanks for your promp reply to my inquiery hanky. I used a centech obd11/eobd scanner in i/m mode which showed that all sensors had reset except the evap & egr. to date after continous city and freeway driving their present status remains as "inc". This problem started months ago when i noticed my engine light on. at that time i pulled a code p1538-imrc stuck open (bank1). i replaced the intake manifold w/imrc actuator and the codes have not returned but, now these two sensors will not reset and i am still not getting any active or oending codes.

Have you found a possible solution to the 2 problems you stated earlier?

Go to Google www.OBD-ii -On Board Diagnostic System
and click on Ford drive cycle.
It should explain what you need to do to run certain monitors.
If it doesn't tell you there, clearing codes and/or disconnecting the battery cables will erase certain monitors and they will need to be run again.
