I have a 2009 Fusion. After the ABS has engaged (applying brakes on slippery roads) the brake pedal is very mushy and goes nearly to the floor. I still have enough brake pedal to come to a stop. This condition lasts about a day or so and then the brake pedal comes back to normal. I talked to a Ford service manager, but they had no idea what it was. Has anyone experienced this?

 

I have only engaged ABS a few times and I have never had the pedal feel any different afterward.
