Default Need help with my 2000 Ford Exedition

I have a 2000 Ford Expedition 4.6 v8. It has over 177,000 miles. It is missing, it has stalled once and acts like it wants to. Some of the dash lights come on and off like the engine like, oil light and the odometer light doesn't come on till car worms up. It starts shaking when it gets up to 65 and acts like it wants to die. I have replaced the spark plugs, battery, alternator, belt and when it got put on the computer at Auto zone it said the spark plug 1 was misfiring but we fixed that. What else could be wrong that would cause all of this. Thank you for your help.

Well, the lights comming on (or not) is probably seperate from the missing. Are you completely sure about fixing the miss in cly #1? It sounds like that clyinder or another one (or more) is causing this concern. There are (of course) only about a million things that could cause this, but I'm willing to bet that there is still a problem with a misfire. Note: not all misfires will set a code; there are some specific events that have to occur to set a code; even with a miss, it may not set the code to the executive diagnositc monitor's content, which would then set a code and turn on the check eng. light. HOWEVER, this info will be caught in mode 6 data, which is easily accessible by any comptent mechanic with the proper equipment, like your Ford dealer.
There are other causes, but I think that the light problems are caused by a defective Instrument cluster, which is a common problem and exactly what they do as you described it.
Good luck!
