New Escape Owner and First Ford
Hello,
I am a new Ford owner, recently purchased a 2010 Ford Escape XLT with the 2.5L. I purchased at 170k Kms.
Hopefully it will last and have a good impression for me with my first Ford vehicle.

Ford, like any other brand , has it's own problems.
What you might consider is following the recommended maintenance intervals in your owner's manual.
Even then,things happen.
Considering the present mileage, we don't know what kind of maintenance it has received, unless you received a maintenance log at the time of purchase.
If no record is available, never hurts to start having scheduled maintenance performed so you know where you stand.
Better to have it done at your convenience than when you are not able to have it done.
