Smile New to FF, help with shocks prob?

Hello, i'm new to the forum but I thought I'd hop on here to see if you guys could help me out and I apologize before hand because this probably is the wrong section for this question. My girlfriend just recently bought a 1997 V6 4.0L Ford Explorer XL manual. It appears to be leaning ever so slightly (but still noticeable from outside the vehicle) to the left side. Tire pressure is inflated to proper PSI in all tires. I'm just curious, is this a matter of old shocks absorbers needed to be replaced or something else? Either way we we're planning on replacing the shocks eventually because she loves to drive offroad. If we were to get new shocks what would be some decent shocks to get for light-medium offroading and city driving (oh and btw this explorer is 2WD incase anyone was wondering.) Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks guys! Long time Ford supporter, first time forum!
