Hello folks. Wanted to introduce myself. Name is Tom, folks call me BigTom due to being 6'5" and 380 Lbs. My 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 4X4 blew a motor with only 65K on it. Cost to fix.... well forget it. Got rid of it. I was pissed. Buy a new truck few years down the road and engine blows... Bye GMC. So enter my used 2011 F250 Super Duty 4X2 standard cab with the 6.2 with an automatic trans. It my first ford truck I have owned and I love it. Wife and I are now empty nesters so no more need for 4 door cabs. I did not realize how much I missed the good old 4X8 bed 2 door cab, 2 wheel drive pickup until I got one. Back to basics. It a TRUCK not a car. Want to drive the kiddies around get a mini van haha. Kidding. I was one of those guys. 4 door cabs do to kids. I love this truck. It is used but it is real clean. No rust, dents, interior is perfect. Live in upstate NY and we use a crap ton of salt during the winters. Shocked there is no rust on this thing.

I joined the forum to see about questions on towing with this truck. Looking at 5th wheel campers with dry weight of 14k and was wondering if this truck could handle it.
