Default New to me 97 T-bird

Hello all from Tennessee. Just acquired a 1997 Thunderbird with under 95,000 miles on it for $1300. Never owned one before- current ride is a 2001 Explorer Sport. Its got the usual clear coat peeling on the top but no rust or dents. The interior hasn't held up as well but for the money I hope it will last a while. It is the 3.8 V6 so its not a powerhouse but has the 4.10 gears so acceleration isn't as bad as you would think. Maybe we can help each other out on occasion with different issues. Not a certified mechanic by no means but I can usually figure problems out.
