Default Newbie here

Hi there everyone, My name is Brian and I'm from Scotland United Kingdom.I'm a Freelance Photographer working mainly front of stage at most of the gigs and Music Fests here in the UK. I own a Fiesta 1.4 TDCI Zetec in silver with matching alloys. It's not that fast, but I am returning in the region of 50+ miles to the gallon(UK). Since owning the car my regular fuel station owner thought I had gone else where as he hadn't seen me in ages.No Just don't need to visit that often. I have noticed one thing when the engine is cold, it tends to cut out, as I change gear the revs just die away, when it's warm no probs. Anyway nice to be here hope to hear from you all soon. Cheers and Beers Brian

50MPH? crap...I am happy my Chrysler 300 v-8 has variable cylinder management that turns off half the motor when on the freeway!! I can get almost 30MPH!!

My explorer 4.0L only gets like 17-19mph!

Bring on the non-gasoline engines!! I'm ready!! Get us out of the middle east!!

Default Ford Fiesta MPG

Hi Folks, well 50+MPG might sound great, don't forget in the UK we are paying £1 ($1.53) a Litre of diesal. I don't know what the fuel cost per litre in the States is, I know it has increased but I bet it's cheaper than here. For every £20 of fuel I put in my car the Gouvernment takes in fuel tax £17ish.I live in Rip off Britain. Just about in every country in Europe, I can buy anything cheaper than here CDs Computers Cameras you name it. With ebay we can see what is being charged for an item abroad and we can compare it with the same item here usualy between £10-15 differance. Sorry didn't mean to rant but it does get up your nose a bit.Cheers Brian PS don't know wether to be happy or sad or buy a bike.
