Default Out of warranty by 10 days.

2014 Ford Econoline E350 Super Duty, original owner with 36,000 miles, immaculate condition just sitting at local dealership, motor shot, 10 days past the the 5 yr, 60,000 mile drive train warranty. The dealership has given us an approximate fix at $10,000. Ugh!!!

The dealership has talked to Ford to see what they will do, answer nothing as it is 10 days past the warranty. We have tried to talk to Ford, only to be sent overseas to talk with someone with limited English on the other end.

I won't babble, if anyone has a suggestion other than to write out a $10,000 check, please chime in, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Joe

Motor shot? What failed the engine?

Under normal circumstances, they generally will help out with a Customer Appreciation offer of some sort...
