I have an 06 e250 with 4.6 v8. Started running like crap. Got the scanner and it said insufficient flow to egr. Changed the egr, cleaned the intake where it goes in and it still runs bad. Bad idle and no power. When I take off connector to egr while it’s running it changes nothing. When I take off connector under load it remains the same. The pressure sensor and solenoid are one unit with the egr. Also checked the tube from intake to egr solenoid and it has no leaks. Any ideas gents?

I would check any vacuum lines associated with the valve if so equiped as well aas any electrical connections and wiring. Also any steel tubing connected to the EGR for any damage. An exhaust leak can also affect certain EGR valves because the back pressure would be affected.
