I have an escort that is giving P0733 code . O/D light flashing , does not go into third Any thoughts

 

Always, check the trans fluid level and condition when checking out an auto trans problem. If ,OK, then we move on to other possible causes like wiring and connections and it will require a scan tool to verify if there may be a non-functioning solenoid inside the trans. The fluid will get drained when removing the pan to do further checking.
After those checks check out , trans removal may be required to permit further examination.
