i am new to this forum and to be honest havent gotten into vehicles a whole lot. now is my chance. my father has a 1988 f250 7.5 460 which has been sitting for 5 years. i am sick of looking at it. i want to fix it. the brake lines are shot, probably needs new pads and rotors. we replaced the starter last year as well as a new battery and it fired right up. since then, i havent touched it. i tried starting it up this past weekend and it just made a clanking sound. i am not sure what the deal is. any ideas?
this truck only has 70,000 miles on it. i want to get it back on the road as well as being capable of going off with no problems. i'll take all the suggestions/help i can get.
