I notice that the exterior trim around doors and rear hatch peel or discolor with time. Mine are also becoming very unsightly too as are many Explorers and Mountaineers, what can be done to fix or just replace these trim pieces?

 

hey mate even though i don't own an explorer, i find that if you keep up the armorall to the trim twice a week it will get better.
I own a xr8 au series 3 manual, and my trim was in pretty poor shape as well, i got it up to looking new pretty quick from doing what i said.

Is your car still under base factory warranty? If so the dealer will replace it free of charge.
