rearend tag

my 9in rearend tag is wfe aw 8jc 3l50 9 3.66a what does this mean?

The "WFE AW" tells you that the rear end is for a 1980-82 Bronco and 1979-1982 F-150.

The "3L50" tells you that it is a limited slip with a 3.50 gear ratio.

Of course the "9" is a 9" gear ring.
