Default Tranny Problems with 2000 Ranger XLT

Hello Folks. Bought a 5 SPD 6 CYL '00 Ranger XLT with unseen tranny damage. I had trans Clutch and Rear End replaced within a thousand miles of driving. Suddenly the trans quit after moving about 500 lbs of small rocks. After replacing trans, clutch and rear end the truck did OK to even great as far as running. Recently I started having problems shifting into gears. My mechanic that I've had for 10-plus years replaced the Clutch Master Cylinder. When it came to bleeding the cylinder it was a difficult and did not seem to reach the proper pressure. After about 30 minutes of pumping and bleeding we thought we had enough pressure to operate, but within a two mile drive I went back with the same problem... Can't shift into gears. My question is this... Is the process of bleeding the cylinder a secret, or is there a reliable method to do so?or could the clutch plate or shifter be the problem because my old cylinder worked better than the new replacement, or last could the new cylinder be defective?? Did not ever see any leakage through-out this problem. Please send any and all possibilities you may know no matter how small or seemingly not important. I would like to maintain my faith in the Ford name. Thanx VTW.

I have had a few of these it is air in the system. It is a real pain to get out the worst.Keep bleeding the system. Also tap the master and watch for air bubbles.
