ok I need some help I'm working on a ford escape 2002 3.0l I replaced the valve cover gaskets and manifold gaskets and also spark plugs now I did that started it up a cloud of smoke came out the tail pipe and also smoke coming from the spark plug holes and there is a terrible knocking noise inside the engine sounds like a paint can is getting tossed around in there what have I done wrong can someone please help your boy out

nick young and new to this site.. Looking for info on headers for my 351w transplant in my 1956 ford vic. close to being finished but need exhaust. I'm just another old guy that has built way to many cars and motor cycles and needs some header help
