Hey there guys, ive got this sweet 4x4 and ive had it forever, its been first truck and ill never leave it, For a little bit "a month" i kept loosing the top bolt from the starter housing which over time and some starts would rattle loose and grind finially on the fly wheel, now its cherry and dead in the grass and wont do anything but grind and grind i took off starter and looked inside, there is some minor wear on a small part of the fly but not much so i replaced starter and battery. it's in tight and wont budge but still with brand new starter grinds and whines like a dentist drill. its a 3 speed automatic 400 everything runs sooo good and it just didnt start one day , a friend tells me to shim it and bolt it down "starter" hold that little starter gear at an angle and itll grab more flywheel meat?
