Short weekend getaway ideas?
I’ve been trying to plan short weekend getaways lately, but I always end up spending more time planning than relaxing. I’d love a tool that could just tell me where to go, what to do, and where to stay within a few hours of my city. Any ideas that actually work for quick trips?

That’s literally why I started using ai trip planner. You can just enter your city and how many days you’ve got, and it builds a full weekend itinerary with nearby destinations. It even accounts for driving time, so you don’t accidentally pick something too far. I used it for a last-minute 2-day trip recently, and it suggested a route with food spots and small-town activities I’d never heard of. You can tweak the recommendations too — like if you want more nature or nightlife. It’s so much better than scrolling through 50 “Top 10 Getaways” articles online.

Totally agree that short trips are the hardest to plan efficiently. I’ve started picking destinations based on time, not distance — a three-hour train ride beats a two-hour drive with traffic any day. Having something to filter by that is a game changer.
