Trailer tire air pressure

Trailer tire air pressure
Hi, all ... We have a little 4x6 trailer we use for hauling pallets to our campsite to help conserve (bought) wood for weekend campfires. This trailer has a single axle with 4.80 - 8 tires on it. These tires are rated at 590# @ 60 PSI, which is what I believe I have in them. The trailer is being stored an hour from here so, I can't check them directly at this time.
My issue is this ... not so bad when it's loaded but empty, going down the Interstate at 70 MPH, it is constantly bouncing.
My question now, is this ... will deflating the tires some help with this bouncing at highway speeds? It is fine in town and/or around 45-50 MPH. And if so, how much could I safely deflate them? Would 30-35 PSI be too soft? Would it be kind of a trial and error thing to see where it pulls the best?
All responses will be considered!
